Why Now?
Jewelry has always been in my blood. My adventurous great-godmother, Violet, sparked a love of adornment that passed to my grandmother, and eventually to me. What started as admiration for timeless pieces became a personal obsession: crafting jewelry that carries meaning, beauty, and a bit of magic.
After a long career in architecture and construction, I found myself drawn to the small scale, pieces you can hold, wear, and see every day. Jewelry became my new outlet for creativity, hand carving wax into objects of personal expression.
At Violet Made Jewelry, every piece is designed to be worn and inspire joy in the everyday. It’s where heritage meets modern design, and where my love for creating something tangible and wearable finds its home.
Handmade, by Me
My vision is to create jewelry that is both personal and enduring. I carve and form from wax, send out to cast in recycled and fair-mined gold, and then finish and set stones by hand in my small Chinatown studio. Whether one-of-a-kind, fully custom, or from my collection of designs, every piece is slightly unique, bearing the subtle marks of a hand-touched finish.
