A little method to the madness! Opening orders during set windows lets me batch casting, shipping, and all the behind-the-scenes admin, which helps keep costs down. I'm constantly adjusting to the price of gold and finding efficiencies wherever I can so I can offer the best possible prices. Because I believe, in my heart, that everyone deserves more gold.

Violet was my great-aunt, an adventurous traveler and collector who passed along her love of beautiful things to my grandmother, who passed them on to me. I don't necessarily design in the style of the pieces she collected (namely, victorian mourning jewelry), but I hope to carry on her adventurous spirit, curiosity, and sense of whimsy. And, of course, the family tradition of collecting a little more jewelry.

I started Violet Made to flex my creative muscles, keep my hands busy (and off my phone), and get back to the part I love most: carving something from scratch and seeing where it takes me, rather than making the same thing over and over.
